Topshop show-window installation

Topshop Oxford Circus show-window project - Bloom (Nov 2013)

collaborated with Neon studio

Bloom is a kinetic installation for Topshop's show-window

Each petal is moved by wind from below fans,

so that whole installation can bloom in elegant mood

As a technical director, managed fan system for movement of installation

including physical computing, wiring, and coding all performances

I Love Arctic

I Love Arctic - Greenpeace project - 3D Projection Mapping - Show (April 2013)

This 3D projection mapping project is for Greenpeace's performance event to help people remind environmental issues of Arctic area

Whirl of Shadow

Whirl of Shadow (2012)

Whirl of Shadow is a kinetic sculpture which projects shadow images or a sequence on the wall. Users can change contents themselves by drawing on clear plastic film and replacing the film. Structure of the ibstallation is inspired by a classic music box

PatEarn (2012)

A game controller for a game application for a web fashion community site. Users enjoy the avatar costume game more intuitionally with the conroller by twisting, squeezing, or bending this doll controller. My role was programming prototype game and making prototype interface

Vida Pida

Vida Pida (2011)

Vida Pida was for a concept project with a new metarial - fabric generator.
The fabric can generate eletricity when it gets physical movement energy.
By utilizing this caracteristic, there was an diea for a brand Vida and public charging station Pida. Pida can be located in public commute way and the installation can not only charge mobile devices but also offer music and dance stage with kinetic visual content - toy roller coaster. In other words, because floor mat of Pida is made up with above generate-able fabric material, the installation can run itself and charge mobile divices from the energy of users' dancing physical movement. After activity, users can recieve detail amount of consumped and earned energy

Frog Xylophone

Frog Xylophone (prototype with Earl Park and Sookyun Yang) (2010)

Frog Xylophone is a wearable and touchable instrument interface.
Shape mimices frog's hand, each sensor inside of each tip of module catches human static field so that each neighboring speakers can emit sounds. By replacing data in SD memory card, users easily change sound contents. Group performance would be a good example for this interactive wearable instument

Shinsegae Media Facade (2010)

Shinsegae Media Facade project is 3 layered LED display for HQ building of Shinsegae department store by Jonpasang studio. There were themes - Christmas, New year, and their 80th anniversary for the contents. My role was casting ideas, making contents, and simulating them before show release
